Hill Place House
This custom residence in the Hill Place development, in Nashville, Tennessee, was designed as a cross between American Eclectic "Italian Renaissance" precedents and early Prairie Style residences. The interiors are clean and crisp with minimal trim, and the exterior combines hand made brick with real stucco and limestone. A large open gallery unifies the interior- vaulted on the upper level, with a curves 'slice' that allows filtered light to penetrate the lower level. Much care was taken to make the house embrace the landscape, with several small gardens/courtyards that surround the footprint.
