New Construction in Chatham, NJ -Tear Down, Reuse of Existing Foundation
This house was constructed on the foundation of an existing 1970's faux Dutch Colonial. The new house is much more authentic and thoughtful. It meets todays living style with the same grace that it now has on the site. Period details make one think that it may date back to the towns original homes.

Existing House in Chatham, NJ
This is the existing 1970's faux Dutch Colonial. Clawson Architects took advantage of the existing foundation and went from there. Every effort was made to work with the existing house however, it became more affordable and easier to just start with the foundation and go up and create a new house.
