This Eichler home with had fallen in desrepair was brought back and enhanced with a studio opening onto the front enclosed yard. The Living Room was opened to the outdoors on both ends to create a light-filled indoor-out feel. The side wall was designed to receive a 12' long painting reflecting the mountains for the outdoor-lover owners, a tree trunk as support adds to the whimsical feeling.
Indoor courtyard extends Living Room and is wrapped by shoji and glass screens bringing in natural light and opening up the surrounding rooms to the outdoors year–round. 12' custom painting inside.
