Menomonee River Parkway Oasis

WATER MANAGEMENT GARDEN
The backyard at this Wauwatosa residence was a very blank and very wet canvas with enormous potential. The long-time owners had dreams of a private oasis in which they could relax and enjoy the outdoors and wildlife. They envisioned casual paths through garden beds with a pond, a small waterfall and plenty of color. What kept their vision from happening was a grading issue that would cause pooling in their lawn and in their basement after nearly every rain.
