1830's Timber Frame Conversion - Historic Flooring

Pictured here is an 1830's timber frame that was re-erected in Georgia. It is now a gorgeous lake home! This is one of our first timber frame conversions we did in 2009. It is truly amazing how the integrity of the structure was preserved so accurately! You can easily build a "green" house using a reclaimed timber framed post-and-beam barn, and do it for less money than you would pay for "new" construction. Not only are the materials time-strengthened, but the exposed beams display the character and history of its original era.
