Located in one of Philadelphia’s Historical neighborhoods, this home’s exterior was restored to the original colors & finishes as recorded by Philadelphia’s Historical Commission. The interior renovation of the 3,100 sq. ft. home was geared towards maximizing daylight and connecting living spaces while maintaining a modern feel that remained warm and classic. By installing steel beams in a load bearing separation wall, openings were created which coupled the kitchen, dining and living spaces allowing for a connected entertaining space and a visual connection among the various split levels. The steel and wood railings run throughout the project reinforcing continuity among spaces.
