Inspired by classic Normandy style architecture, this residence on an infill lot in Wayzata blends seamlessly into its historic neighborhood. Hand-hewn white oak beams, heavy iron strapped plank doors, and capistrano heart pine floors add a french farmhouse quality to this home. The owners' desire for a residence that feels as if it's been on the site for a century was achieved with low roof massing, intimate interior spaces, and period details.
