Art for Crohn's

Tim Buisman is a Photographer in Rochester, NY who was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2009. He has had almost two flare ups a year since he was first diagnosed. In March of 2013 he was hospitalized for a flare up which resulted in surgery to remove a piece of his intestines. During the surgery they found that it was "messier" than they had thought, and they did quite a bit of scraping. He now has an Ileostomy bag that will be reversed in mid-June.

Crohn's disease is not one of the more popular ones when it comes to public knowledge. This leaves it somewhat lacking in research. The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America does have local chapters, and it's web site has useful information for anyone who suffers with the illness, or has a loved one who does.

Because of his recent hardships he does not want others to go through the same thing he has. For that reason 10% of all profit made from Art for Crohn's will be donated to the Crohn's and Colitis foundation of America. This promotion (as of now) will be going on Until October. You can buy prints through Ebay or Fine Art America. Purchasing through Ebay is buying direct from the artist, but FAA does have more options (such as canvas print).
