The greatest challenge of this home was that there were so many little rooms without a lot of function or cohesiveness. The objective was to take all of the spaces and make them fit into the dynamic that you don’t need a lot of square footage to have a lot of amenities. Walls were removed, spaces were reconfigured and rooms were grown.
• One of the three bedrooms upstairs was unwalled, half was used for the walk-in closet in the master bath and the other half added to the footprint of the kitchen.
• The kitchen doubled in size to make a more functional workspace.
• Half of the lower level, which was unfinished, was turned into a media room, exercise room & billiards room.
The Master Suite lures you in with a cool sophistication, calming the senses with hues borrowed from the soothing elements of earth, air, and water during the daylight hours. In the evening, the element of fire brings warmth and excitement to the space. A round tub, natural stone, and circular ceiling details, reflect a sense of peace and tranquility when needed.
The kitchen and dining areas are open and spectacular with windows that pull the outside views into the home. Warm cherry finishes on the cabinets complemented by exotic woods and European detailing combine with the latest in appliances, countertops and lighting to exude luxury and efficiency.
The media room is connected to the main living area complete with a 100” screen, bar, and billiards area. Your own exercise facility is located adjacent to the bedrooms and two fabulous powder bathrooms offer your guests a hospitality-like experience.
Filling the rooms with all of the accoutrements one could ever need in a living space made this home what it is today, an entertainer.
