Side Addition & Interior Remodel - Honeystone Ct., Brookeville, MD

The owners of this home started with a very small kitchen. The story that they told us was that when they received a decorative plate as a gift, they found they had nowhere to store it. So, instead of the kitchen, it went into the spare bedroom. As other items started accumulating in the spare bedroom, they decided it was time for an addition. We added on to the side of the house, expanding the kitchen through the original dining room, all the way to the new exterior wall. A new dining room was built in the front of the house, and the rest of the first floor got all new paint and flooring. We relocated the laundry room upstairs, and reconfigured and expanded the master suite, with a new bedroom, larger bath, and new sitting room and walk in closet.
