Schmidt Lake Timber Lodge

Nestled on the fringe of a forest and Schmidt lake, this residence incorporates exposed gusseted timber-framed trusses and masonry columns. Indiana limestone, tumbled brick, and wood pegged half-timbers comprise the exterior, while the desire for a casual interior is achieved with hand-scraped hickory floors, cedar timbers and alder millwork.
