Because this bedroom is small, I've had to make use of every inch...so next to the vanity I've placed another black painted wicker hamper which stands in for a nightstand to hold tissues, water, etc. This photo is also a "peek" at the new bed linens and the lime green burlap drapes.

Next to the black baskets, in the left-hand corner, you see my "vanity". This piece is special to me because my father found it for me at the "boutique" (the dump in real terms) and I've had it for over 20 years. I'd like to paint it a shabby "pink" to update it with my new bedroom fabrics.

Top of my triple dresser with lots of statues and figurines to hold my jewlery...which I prefer over a traditional "box" where I can't see what I have and things tend to get all tangled up. The "hands" hold rings and bracelets and the "busts" hold the necklaces.

As a specail treat I'm using "silk" curtains for the actual shower curtains...makes this small space all the more special. We simply "tie back" the curtains with a large tassel when we get into the shower everyday. My DH doesn't even mind doing this...such a sweetheart!

Next to the tub is a wicker trunk which I've had since a little girl...it is over 35 years old and was bought when we lived in Taiwan. It doubles as great storage and a place to sit and dry off or apply moisturizer on your legs.

On-Suite Masterbath is quite large for an apartment...event though it only has one sink...I'm happy...because it's one less sink to clean. This photo shows a plate rack that I've repurposed as a cosmetics holder...which I like organizers that can be "picked up" all at once for easy cleaning of the bathroom counters.
