A wonderful duplex in one of Chicago's most unique co-ops, this project was begun from a space gutted down to the base structure of the building. Our mission was to create a home that looked as if had been in place since the 1920's, with just a 'little freshing up'.

Taking the place of a pair of his and hers bedrooms, the master bedroom was combined into a single spacve using a semi circular space to resolve the off center window placement. The bed niche, cut out of the semi circle is contrast upholstered in an iconic stripe by Madelaine Castaing

The very long narrow plan of the bath necessitated creating a large glassed in room containing both the bath tub and the shower. Extra large and deep medicine cabinets eliminated the need for under counter cabinets. A massive nero porturro marble vanity anchors the very clean and modern Master Bath
