Trophy Room Office

After downsizing from a home in the country to a town home on the river, the owner still wanted a room where he could display his trophies from a lifetime of hunting, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. A life long passion for natural wood by the owner sparked the idea for a hand-hewn beam as a fireplace mantle. The stone and vintage wood of the fireplace gave the room a good feel, but the owner didn’t stop there. Hand hewn beams were added to the ceiling for aesthetics, and an iron ‘I beam’ was wrapped with reclaimed barn siding from Modern Urban Woods. ‘Rustic Elegance’ as the owner describes it, in a home-office that exhibits his passions in an authentic way.
