Old Westbury Swimming Pool with Water Slide, Waterfalls and Beach Entry
The design of this project involved raising the landscape so that a 150' waterslide winds its way underground through rock and waterfalls to plunge into a swimming pool.
This 150' water flume is designed with a 75' underground section. The photo shows the slide emerging through a waterfall as it exits the underground section.
The waterfall as it wraps around a jacuzzi and plunges into a swimming pool. On the far side of the photo is the beach entrance.
The slide is suspended in the position that it will eventually rest. The rock ledges were built around it.
A diving rock is cantilevered over the pool off of a raised patio. The underside of the diving rock is carved out to provide clearance above the water.
