Menlo Park Outdoor Entertainment Area

The homeowners were seeking an outdoor entertainment area that could be used by their large extended family for cooking, dining and relaxing. They were also very concerned with how the potential shade structure would impact the house's rear facade and therefore were seeking a design that would sensitively blend with and compliment the building. The resultant arbor/kitchen/dining area utilizes the house's architectural vocabulary, providing a natural extension from the home's adjacent interior rooms.
