Dillow Hall

Located in St. Mary's County, Maryland, the site for this project is an extremely unique and beautiful peninsula bound by the Patuxent River to the east and Lewis Creek to the west. Virtually surrounded by water, the site is elevated about 30 feet above mean high tide and offers panoramic river views to Chesapeake Bay to the east, Solomon's Island to the north, and more contained and protected views of Lewis Creek.

Thoroughly contemporary in function, the forms and details of this new house explore and express the unique vocabulary of its English roots found in the earliest medieval architecture of St. Mary's City
