Small Bathroom Project

This was a unique project for a room that didn't exist when we started production on the products.

The client came to us with a proposed room size and a brief that the room had to be contemporary, feature wood, and be able to be used by the elderly (with shower seating etc) while having lots of storage.

The room would have no natural light and is only 1.4mx1.9m in size.

To do this project, we kept the design of the furniture flexible so that it could be altered on site to fit the room if it had changed size since the original plan.

The furniture is made out of Egger Chateau Oak, imported to the UK from Austria for the job (water resistant) and has been combined with two white solid surface tops.

The WC unit is only 200mm deep, while the whole piece of furniture is 1000mm long.

The vanity unit and mirror cabinet feature soft close hinges that have concealed struts meaning there's no visible soft close mechanism.

The oval basin is large as it has to be usable and is 500x375mm in size.

The toilet features a soft close seat and is deliberately minimalist in order to keep it easy to maintain.

The tiles are 590 high gloss white, while the floor as 400 light grey tiles to reflect the Chateau Oak board.

The shower area is a huge 1400x900, to accommodate an extra carer if necessary, while the fixed shower head is 360mmx300mm in size to give a luxury rainfall effect.

There is an extra flexible attachment for a carer to use and a grab rail.
