Log Home Kitchen

Home owners had an exsiting builder grade kitchen in a beautiful rustic log home. Because of the exposed logs in the interior of the kitchen , dining room and family room space we choose to create a contrast of woods using a stained Maple cabinet with a butterscotch glazing. Our clients wanted an open floor plan that involved an entry way, a dining room, kitchen, living room, hallway and full bath. We decided to run laminate flooring throughout the first foor of the home for a consistant look. Our cabinets created the contrast we needed against the exposed logs, and topped off with a darker granite counter top, our Maple glazes really popped. Suites of lights made it easy to pick from our assortment at Lowes moving from the kitchen sink single pendant to the island three pendant to the dining room chandiler. Our home owners also included a redo of their full bathroom with a new tub and shower surround, tile flooring, pedestal sink and a custom wall kubbie for towel storage. This was an expansive remodel that transformed this rustic log home interior into an updated, sophisicated kitchen and dining room space. Our clients are now ready to entertain their friends and family for many years in their spacious updated kitchen which compliments their beautiful log home.
