Although I work primarily on Interior Design, I specialize in remodels and have done them for a large portion of my career. This client wanted to overhaul the entire existing house, which was originally a 1970s brick rambler, and added an addition on the front and the back of the house. Which essentially changed the house entirely from being a simple square building to becoming more craftsman in it's styling.

While I was assisting them with their interior design, I also helped with the exterior design, and landscape design. If they had hired an architect and landscape architect, they could've done some things a lot more enticing. But, since I am not an architect, we went with what I know. In the end, the house turned out beautiful and met all of the client's needs.

In the mudroom, we needed to be sure that the space was completely functional. In this particular room, the laundry is sharing a half wall, so we needed the vanity to serve a dual purpose. The entire room was designed with the idea of incorporating the craftsman styling while keeping the lines simple and clean and maintaining the general function.
