This lively kitchen really portraits my clients' personalities. The lady of the home loves to bake. She needed a large, flat surface. I took out her two level island and replaced it with one large single level island. All of her baking appliances are within arms reach stored below and pop-up just when she needs them. Here is the view from the kitchen into the family room creating the great room. I removed a half wall and replaced it with a stone topped bank of cabinetry. This increased the storage space greatly in the kitchen and serves as a lovely buffet for either room. Photo by Bob Narod.
