Great Falls Basement
This was a newly renovated basement in Great Falls. We opened a wall to create a theater area, added an amazing Onyx topped bar, increased the size of the full bath, and added visual interest to the ceiling. Obviously, our clients had great taste in their materials selections!
A striking onyx countertop becomes the focal point of the basement bar. Combined with with natural stone, rich woods, and bold colors, the basement has a transitional feel.
While only needed on the left side of the room, bulkheads were added on all sides to create a more visually balanced and pleasing tray ceiling.
Though few walls fully separate the various "rooms" of the basement, the spaces are kept distinct from each other by the use of different ceiling heights, peninsulas, and varied paint colors
Through efficient use of space, the reworked basement is able to incorporate a bar with seating, a theatre room, and three game tables (pool, foosball, and poker) within a modest floorplan
The cmopletely redone basement bathroom features a sleek zen vibe, with wooden accents, a floating natural stone countertop, and an asian-inspired color scheme.
The wood sink, bamboo faucet, and wooden decorative mirror are natural yet modern looking. The result is a contemporary asian spa feel.
The pebble tile in the shower adds to the natural spa-feel of the basement bath. It is counter-balanced by a sleek polished square wall tile.
