Glen Manor House

A 1920's era house with small bedrooms and limited closet space demanded a design approach which added new area by making a front and rear addition. While creating a large master bedroom at the front of the house, it was also an opportunity to make a new covered porch in the Toronto tradition. A second storey addition over the existing garage also provided a new master ensuite bathroom.

Materials such as stone, painted wood trim, brick and cedar shingles were used and belonged to the tradition of building materials common to Beach area homes in Toronto.
