Offering all of the features of the Longhouse 3.0, the added flat roofed entry and porch module delivers just a little more square footage. It creates a distinguished entry element along with a covered porch, a larger office area near the end bedrooms and a dedicated master dressing area. The house still checks in with a modest footprint and due to the separation of public and...More

The dogtrot functions as an indoor/outdoor mudroom, a place to store kayak paddles and fishing gear, a place to socialize with its built-in benches and also serves as an ad-hoc screened porch. With t...More

Sliding screens reinforce the barn typology while shading the south wall from sun and creating privacy as desired on the interior space. A highly insulated skin, doors + windows + high performance...More

The Longhouse 3.0 lives and feels much larger than its’ modest footprint due to the separation of public and private spaces and the ring circulation at the perimeter of the plan. Long and narrow, it allows for privacy at the extreme ends, communal living in the center and ample natural light in all spaces.
