Our family home in Vero beach was damaged in the 2004 Hurricanes just after completing a major renovation. Determined to pick up the pieces and rebuild once again, the Sister Design Team, made lemon into lemonade. After 3 years of re-designing, planning and building, the home is now a spectacular seaside retreat. Sister's and Designers, Lori Auer-Smith and Karen Marcil, are known for creating interiors that welcome you and appear to have been there for generations by mixing architectural elements from the past and emphasizing a casual elegance and comfort. It's all about family life and providing the perfect place to gather and enjoy each other. They specialize in seaside style inspired by the salt, sand and sea. They incorporate nautical antiques and architectural elements that they import from around the world-large brass cargo lights, vintage teak porthole doors, antique oars, sea glass floats and many other items found on old ships. They use light and airy colors mixed with warm tones of wood and time worn pieces giving you a sense of history and wonder of the sea. Nothing is untouchable, everything is livable, inviting and timeless

The great room is open to the dining room and kitchen providing a large space to entertain family and friends, yet still cozy and intimate. Master Bathroom
In the master bath, the color scheme is sea glass green and crisp white, replicating the watery tones of the ocean. The vertical application of washed blue green stones on the tub wall create a feeling of falling water.
