This before photo was taken just as the on site installation was beginning. The owner wanted a custom fireplace mantel and surround that included bookcases and a location for the television above the fireplace. Re|Structure Photo by Samual Morgan
The compleated piece. The unit was designed by Keith Pyontek of Re|Structure and our Lead Carpenter was Samual Morgan. The unit was built using White Oak. We carefully co-ordiniated the colors of the wood finish, tile surround and hearth stone to blend and compliment one another. The Red Tile color was choosen not only because it blended so well with the other tones but it also complimented a red that was used in a painting that was displayed in this room.
In this photo, the doors above the firplace are opened for television viewing. Re|Structure photo by Samual Morgan
Beautifully co-ordinated color tones between the wood, tile and stone hearth. We wanted the hearth stone to work well with the other materials and colors yet be unique enough to make a statement. Re|Structure Photo by Samual Morgan

This unique hearth stone is a good example of how good material selections can pull a piece nicely together. Everything works in perfect harmony yet the piece makes a statement. Re|Structure Design-Build Photo by Samual Morgan.
