Media Wall

The idea of this Media Wall was started when I purchased some old Barn wood. I wanted to create something like I've never seen before. I did not want to buy an articulating TV arm to move the TV in the direction of my guest. I wanted to move the wall. With some design help from my Friend and Architect Pete Foster, I built what I think is the coolest cantilevered movable wall I have ever seen.

.Depending on where guest are seated in the room, the wall is cantilevered on hinges so it can swing from a flat wall to a viewable position. This way I did not have to install an articulating TV mount.

The Media Wall at a 45 degree angle. To the right is the kids pitstop area made from the same barn wood. When the Media Wall is pushed flat against the wall it appears to be the same design on both sides of the fire place.
