Island House 1
An Island villa placed on a point so the building almost disappears, swallowed by the dense vegetation.
The tower is a great place to enjoy a Caribbean sunset. The base of the tower is a round powder room.
The entry faces the windward side of the Island so it is more closed with small windows providing framed snapshots of the view from inside.
Two levels with built in seating creates a casual feel. Tropical hardwoods were used for doors, windows and roof. Antique Indonesian columns were incorporated into the structure. Interior design by Rose Capestany, RCI Inc., Seattle, WA
Internal courtyards allow air to circulate freely in the house while providing a dramatic backdrop for the main Dining area.
