Historic Brick Repointing

The mortar on this house was a combination of colors and types from poor repair attempts over the years. The installation crew at LimeWorks.us repointed the building with historically appropriate Ecologic® Mortar.

The exterior had years of damaging Portland Cement repairs all done in different colors. This was a problem for the building's health and was a problem due to its location in a prominent historic area in the city. The original mortar color was simulated to give a consistent appearance all while using historically appropriate lime mortar with NO harmful Portland Cement.
