Perfect Addition for a New Kitchen

A remodeled kitchen with an addition and a new patio were on the wish list of this homeowner. Their old kitchen was dark, outdated, lacked functionality and space. To fulfill their dreams we began the project by enlarging the kitchen. We removed an exterior wall and installed a 25’ I-beam, allowing for a seamless addition to the existing space. We also opened the kitchen to the foyer, dining and family rooms. This provides great flow for entertaining. New semi custom Decora cabinets were chosen in Maple Suede for the primary cabinetry and rich Cobblestone for the range hood and magnificent island. The floors were refinished in a natural wood color with a high traffic finish. The appliances that were selected included a 48” dual fuel Viking range, built in Sub Zero refrigerator, built in microwave and wine refrigerator that was installed in the island. These top of the line appliances provide the homeowner with all the latest amenities and modern conveniences. Layers of lighting, from recessed, pendant and under the cabinet lights, to the natural light coming from new windows, perfectly illuminate this large space. Beautiful Cristalino granite, an Elkay gourmet e-granite sink with a Delta Touch2O faucet, and tile backsplash with Delta pot filler provide the finishing touches to the amazing kitchen. Finally, the old wooden deck was removed from the back of the house. A brick terrace was constructed, creating the perfect spot for outdoor family gatherings and entertaining.
