Space was limited in this kitchen and it was very closed off to the rest of the house. We enlarged the pass thru for better light and did full height cabinetry. The ivory with glazed coloring of the cabinets was intended to lighten the look of the room, while the depth of color in the flooring, granite and backsplash added back in the richness and warmth.

Due to the layout of the home and budget restraints, we were unable to remove a wall to open up this kitchen, but by enlarging a pass-thru area, we were able to add some visual interest and create additional openess and light in both the kitchen and dining room.
