Residence on Lake Barcroft

A builder-quality interior becomes a modern sanctuary for the owners, as FORMA opens up the plan and re-directs the flow of the house to some amazing results. The lower level unused space becomes a mini-theater /party room while a series of outdoor decks looking over the creek in the back makes for a sublime getaway in the spring and fall.

DC Modern Luxury Magazine's section"Inside Additions" featured this project in the March 2011 issue.

The January 2010 issue of Home & Design magazine article"Going Modern" showcases this dramatic transformation.

Washington Life Magazine's Holiday 2010 issue featured this project in the article "Rooms Without Borders" p. 87

The home was awarded the 2010 Gold Award for Residential Design by the International Interior Design Association's (IIDA) Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
