Our clients wanted to build a custom 5,700 sq. ft., two-story traditional Craftsman style home in an high fire danger area. To make room for aging grandparents, two separate living areas were designed, along with wheelchair accessibility. We used non combustible building products for the exterior, including Felt House Wrap for additional protection.

With the use of rich mahogany and intricate glass design, this home's grand foyer is an ode to the bold, yet simple, design.

Officials of Claremont McKenna College wanted a house that blended tradition with vision. We made the home suitable for its use as both a single family residence and a state-of-the-art hospitality center for the college.

By repairing the foundation of the 1904 home and carefully renovating the interiors, we were able to blend the original structure's tradition and the college's commitment to visionary design.
