GARDEN DISTRICT PROJECT

The Garden Gates Landscape Architecture Team designed and installed a new landscape for Metairie Small Animal Hospital in the fall of 2014. The Garden Gates Landscape designers completed a project using a strict budget and timeline. The Garden Gates Landscape Installers went from demolition of the previous landscape to tree work to re routing irrigation system to grading to planting and sod installation. The Garden Gates installed the new sprinkler system but was still able to use a lot of the old systems pipes and valves. The Garden Gates Landscape Designers maximized the amount of space for the animals in a fenced in area by working with code enforcement for certain variances on the property lines. The Garden Gates Landscape Team used bordering plant material to keep people walking animals away from the fence line. The Garden Gates Design Team installed a fountain as well. The Garden Gates Landscape Team graded the entire area and put in a walkway for the dog walkers. The Garden Gates Paver team used a brick like paver to accomplish the new hardscape look. The Garden Gates Landscape team brought this design to life.
