Eichler Renovation

by Tali Hardonag Architect
A mid-century Eichler was opened up to create an airy, spacious, well lit room that housed living, dining and kitchen comfortably and with great views to the back yard. The main wood ridge beam and supporting posts was replaced by a steel beam that spanned the length of the room.
Contemporary styled European cabinets and stainless steel appliances were selected to update the look of the 1940's modern. Lighting at the exterior walls highlights the structure of the post and beam original construction
