The program was developed for a family of five with two school-aged children and one college student. A two story scheme was chosen to gain the desired exterior courtyard space and take advantage of the distant ocean views from the second floor master suite.
The first floor was designed to take advantage of the lot and maximize the interior and exterior spaces and relationships. Three distinct courtyards were created.
The second floor was designed in two distinct wings off of the main stair second floor vestibule. A master suite with a separate sitting room, master bedroom, viewing porch and elegant master bathroom provides privacy and distant ocean views occupy one wing. The kid’s wing occupies the other side of the house and has a large teen room with separate suites that enter off of the room. Each bedroom has a bathroom with a stone veneer shower and granite stone countertops and a completely built out walk in closet.
