Ocean Loft

This project was a total renovation of a 1980s condominium on the Atlantic Ocean in Boston. The 1700 square foot space was gutted and transformed into an open loft.

The dining room is open to the kitchen and living room with views of the Atlantic Ocean. The floor is parquet, the chairs have cut velvet fabric from Stark, the draperies are silk on stainless steel rods and rings, and the pendant light over the table has a custom silk shade

The kitchen is open to the foyer, dining area, and living area. The cabinets are cherry and the Subzero refrigerator is hidden behind panels. The pantry cabinets have electrical outlets inside and house the coffee maker and toaster on a pull out shelf. Green glass 2" x 6" pyramid tiles were installed on the vertical above the sink creating a waterfall effect.

Here is a shot of the working side of the island. The wolf induction cooktop and grill are on the center of the counter. The warming drawer is hidden behind a panel on the lower left, and the oven and microwave are also in the island.

The bedroom and bathroom are open to each other allowing ocean views from everywhere in the room. The steam shower has a regular shower head, rain head and hand held head, jet sprays, fiber optic lights for chromatherapy and music system. The whirlpool tub is raised on a platform.
