Paddo sunken garden

A sunken garden was the solution for this Paddington terrace with substantial drop from the rear of the property. A dining deck leads to wide timber steps flanked by casual seating platforms with white terrazzo troughs planted with lush plants. Custom made cushions add a sophistication to the space along with corten steel lightboxes.
Plantings were mostly kept to a palette of fresh greens and whites against the black boundary fencing and timber slats, with the exception of the new pink Crepe Myrtle added to keep the existing mature tree company, which are both up lit at night.
Contemporary blue stools were included for the clients to rest their gin and tonics.
