I like mixing the contemporary Saarinen table, the Callagaris chairs and the antique cookie mold on the wall together. The orange chairs play off the orange Impatiens outside.

This unusual plaster and shell bust of King Neptune was purchased at a consignment store. It was the perfect size for the space and carried out the sophisticated beach theme. A Callagaris table and lucite Ikea chairs completed the look.

Couldn't resist this fabulous imported wallpaper but mixed it with an Ikea dresser that I "dressed up" by changing the hardware. In order to allow enough space between the dresser and bed, I needed something "weightless". I found the perfect lucite table at The Find in Newport Beach!

This small room doubles as an office and a guest room by way of using an Ikea sofa bed. The look is "beach chic" and mixing the organic materials (shell mirror, knotty wood night stand and horse hair bench along with the Ikea contemporary desk keeps the look clean yet functional.
