Contemporary Home in Oakville

This home had good bones but was very dark and run down. The decor was also in need of some serious updating. This was a large job that involved opening up walls, changing the style of windows in the kitchen, renovating the kitchen, designing a new fireplace in the family room, updating the powder room, refreshing the main bathroom, updating the basement, installing new flooring, ordering new furniture, rugs, accessories and artwork. The home is now bright and cheerful!

This rec room bar and cabinetry reflects my clients' rustic side. The rest of the home is contemporary but they wanted the basement to feel more cottagey. The glazed cabinetry along with the fresh green accents create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
