Christmas

I love a traditional red & green Christmas, so that was my inspiration this year. =) I was introduced to Deco Poly Mesh, a product I have never used before and LOVE IT!! I weaved and swaged it in throughout the tree and it is very easy to work with. It also works as a great filler where you don't have ornaments, or to fill in bare spots.

I visited Colonial Williamsburg and was inspired by their traditional red and green Christmas decorating. I wanted to create a mantle that was simple and pretty and this is what I came up with. I hope you like it! =)

I love to decorate the top of my pot rack through every season. Mr. Rooster sits up top with a Christmas wreath around his neck. I used Red Deco Poly Mesh (love this stuff, & purchased it at Hobby Lobby) and weaved it through the garland. I added ornaments and a few bows, and 3 Christmas gift boxes....and whala - DONE! I hope you like it!

~Traditional Wreath~

I made this wreath with old Christmas scraps. I had a plain x-mas wreath and added bows, ribbon, and ornaments. I think it looks fun and festive for the season! =)

This is our family room tree lit up at night. I used Red Deco Poly Mesh and weaved it in throughout the tree. =)

I purchased this bedding from Wal-Mart last year and thought I could bring it out year after year for Christmas. This is a guest room, so anyone that stays for Christmas will enjoy the holiday mood set fourth in the room! =)

I have a hutch in my family room and I decorated the top of it with good ol' St. Nick and a few topiaries. =)

I love this little guy and he adds a bit of character to the family room hearth! ;)

Add a little character to your doors by painting the panels. I also added this holiday wreath to the Laundry Room door.

This is a table in a hallway. I added a BIG lit wreath around a rounded mirror that I have hanging on the wall. I added a topiary, a basket of poinsettias, and a Christmas tree that lights up. There are two lamps on either side of the table! =)

I hung this wreath on this mirror for the holidays.

I created this tree for my daughters room for Christmas. She loves the color PINK! ;)
