Quiet Casual Home
by RTA Studio
The design of this home is all about the connections between inside and outside and the owners’ desire for a casual, functional, and inviting home.
The living spaces have views out towards the private, wooded property from almost every angle. The dining space is central to the family room, kitchen, and sunroom. It’s casual enough for every day use, formal enough for large dinners, and big enough for parties.
The centrally-located dining area is directly adjacent to the large fireplace. A special nook on the front entry side of the fireplace structure holds the owners’ heirloom grandfather clock.
