la encantada house renovation and adition

This project was "inherited" from an architect friend of mine, who couldn't continue with the job due to an advanced pregnancy.
I received the construction of the new extension of the house almost finished and the entrance and the remodel of the original house not even designed. Funny thing is that the owner became pregnant while the extension was being made so we had to add another room to the original house, continuing the garden view row of rooms in it's front.
The owners had bought the original house and made some renovations at the time. Then they bought the lot adjacent after 10 years and planned to extend their house to that lot (the previous architect designed most of the new structure)
The new construction added on the first floor 1 more bedroom with en suite bathroom, an art room, a huge, 2 story play room with storage, a full bathroom serving the exterior, garage with workshop for motorcycles and bikes and on the second floor a full suite: lounge area, home office, terrace, the master suite with a huge en suite bathroom and walk in closet.
On the original house the master bedroom became a study room and a interior patio, and the original study/playroom became part of the kitchen including an interior patio. Every piece of fixed furniture was custom designed.
The logic of the design of the addition is that once their now 4 kids are all grown up they could easily separate both lots and create 2 separate houses.
