North Broadmoor Garden
This extensive garden renovation on a site adjacent to the Broadmoor Golf Course has both a contemporary and a Mediterranean feel. Much effort was taken to compensate for a difficult existing condition - that the L-shaped house configuration on a quarter-circle shaped lot and site topography required having the front entry path cross the driveway, passing the garage doors. The driveway is nearly completely hidden in the primary view from the street. The project includes a Wilkeson sandstone wall fountain, extensive black granite and slate paving, concrete retaining walls, Wilkeson sandstone light pillars and clipped, ornamental plantings.
