F - Designer's Condo

This is the designer's own condo that was completely gutted and rebuilt with all
the amenities that could be done. The lighting, sound and function of the apace were all brought into account. Each room brings it's own unique application to make the whole apartment worthy of an eight page spread in New England Home magazine. It is a fabulous experience to be in it!

This wall unit is semi built-in. (Each cabinet is made separately and installed on top of the stone floor and screwed to the wall.) This condo could not have a gas or wood fireplace so we used electric. It is a nice subtle accent and adds a little warmth on cold New England days. The black fireplace inset surround ties the black piano in to the space that is mostly off white. ...More

This bedroom is in a high rise condo building. The applied wall moldings and crown molding were added to soften the space. The panels inside the applied molding have cork, batting and then silk added to keep the space quiet and help make a special retreat feeling. The silk has a low sheen and sort of glitters in the daylight and holds it's own space in the evening. The dresser ...More

The counter is 3/4" creme mars fils marble with an ogee edge that has a curved ...More

The inset has two chamfered back corners so it envelopes the glass vase and arrangement. It has silver leaf walls, floor and ceiling by Bill Riley (rileycreative1@mac.com). It adds a dimension to a tiny entry foyer so...More

This is the living room of the condo. We chose off white Sunbrella type fabric (because of the dog and we like to lounge around) on a classic track arm frame so the sofa and chair are more in the background and the collected pieces of art and accessories are in the forefront.
