Remodel and Addition
"Walls were removed and reconfigured to accommodate the new great room effect. The breakfast nook became part of the kitchen in order to make use of the space more efficiently. The kitchen was redesigned according to the families need, practical use as well aesthetic concerns. The island was designed to accomplish the breakfast nook as well as a place for friends and family to gather and help with the cooking, allowing more than one person to use the kitchen at the same time.

Each space was designed so that one could look out towards the backyard and the pool from anywhere in the public areas. The outdoor/indoor life style was a leading factor in putting the big sliding doors and the open great room. Small partition walls and niches were used to give each space some sense of boundary). "
