Nobscot Road

The main objectives for this addition were to provide the Owners with a three car garage and mudroom; a comfortably scaled family room that would accommodate a billiards table; and a new master bedroom suite. We also incorporated a scullery between the new family room and kitchen, and modified the back wall of the kitchen to look out onto a new stone terrace and wooded views. The interior of the family room combines custom arches, built-in bookcases, and a beamed ceiling with wide plank rustic oak flooring and a field stone fireplace. A flat panel T.V. disappears into the built-ins for entertaining. On the exterior, the addition enhances the character of the existing house.
