Before moving into this house the owners had the kitchen remodeled to accommodate their artwork. The ceiling was raised and the two faces were positioned for an ocean view as they look over a dining room pass-through. The taller ceiling really opens up the space when compared to the kitchen in the before photo. David Franzen

This master bathroom opens to a private courtyard where a hot tub and shower are located. The bathtub is positioned in a window bay so the outdoor space can be enjoyed while bathing. Hard to believe, but this photo was taken from the same viewpoint as the after photo. The bathroom was reconfigured so all of the stone covered interior walls could be removed. The new bathtub window bay was an extension out into the courtyard. John Black
