This remodeling and addition completely gutted the existing home and added another 2000sf, creating a 4-bedroom bed and breakfast on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. Built of concrete for ease of construction and durability, the home features an array of local materials and artisinal finishes. A roof deck overlooks the sea, while a palapa at the end of the dock offers swimmers shaded shelter.
The Caribbean, as viewed from the roofdeck. The palapa at the end of the dock welcomes visitors as well as invites lounging in the hammock.
The cedar railing flows across the exterior of the home, and we painted the underside of the eaves to expand the view of the sky.......
Mixed hardwood flooring creates a wonderful tapestry of colors. Louvered windows are used throughout for maximum ventilation.
