Conceived as a country retreat, this traditionally styled two story residence combines a connection to the landscape with elegant yet functional interior finishes. The exterior is inspired by classic New England hill farms, while the interior palette is derived from the clients' love of Tuscan colors, textures and materials.

A gracious porch wraps the exterior with accommodations for entries and outside living. Interior spaces flow together providing for individual and familial activities; functional & festive.

With three upstairs bedrooms, an office and a central common space located over kitchen and dining, a central living room with fireplace, a study and various household utility rooms, connected by an open stair, the house plan is distinguished and yet possesses a unique sense of fun, color and flair.

Particular attention was given to developing a high-efficiency exterior envelope. Throughout the house, interior and exterior, careful consideration was given to proportion, detail, craftsmanship, materials and lighting. In every respect efforts were made to achieve results that were beautiful, timeless, and long lasting.
